This year, 2013, I resolve to learn more about the features of my camera. I have a Canon Power Shot SX20. It’s a great camera. Little. All I need actually, but I haven’t even used it to its full potential yet and I’ve had it about 3 years now. I love photography and taking photos. If my life allowed me, I would definitely be spending my days snapping pics all day long! Wow, that would be a dream. I did take an on-line photography course a few years ago, mostly beginner based. The course was out of California and we had an amazing instructor. I learned so much from him and the other students in the class. I’m actually tossing around the idea of taking another course, hopefully this year. Our local college offers a few night courses and I just might sign up for one…or two! So this year, I resolve to learn more of the features of my camera and what it can do, take waaaay more photos and get myself enrolled in a photography course!! I’m excited!

Pictures paint a thousand words! Learn away lovely lady.
good luck and I too is actually considering a class early this year but online is more convenient to me…
Go for it!!!
I have the same goal. My husband gave me a Nikon D3100 as my birthday gift last year, and as much as I wanted to learn, I just don’t have enough time. Anyway, I’ve signed up for a photography workshop this month and I hope I’ll learn something… Goodluck!
Oh I know time is so hard to come by. Great for you to have signed up for the workshop. Learn, learn, learn…enjoy, good luck and have fun!
I love photography, too and I have also resolved to take more pictures this year. Years ago, I always had a camera in my hand. Not so much lately. Last year I finally broke down and bought a D-SLR. The Nikon 3200. I’m excited to get motivated and take some good pics
Awesome…Go for it Andrea! What I find challenging is remembering that we are surrounded by photo opportunities. I catch myself at times struggling to find something to photograph when actually great shots are right in front of me.
